Madams,

The Partisan Defense Committee has learned that prisoner Mumia Abu-Jamal continues to suffer from dire vision loss due to medical neglect at your institutions. His eyesight is threatened by diagnostic diabetic retinopathy and severe glaucoma. These treatable conditions have been allowed to deteriorate due to lack of treatment. This criminal neglect must stop now.

We reiterate our previous demand that he be released unconditionally so he can be given the needed medical treatment immediately. This courageous journalist, artist and PhD candidate scholar should not be blinded by deliberate inattention.
